
Vanessa Rousso is through to the semi finals of the National Heads Up Championship, and will face fellow PokerStars pro, Bertrand Grospellier at Caesers Palace for a place in the grand final.
Rousso has been having quite a year in 2009, appearing in both the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and GoDaddy television ads.

The 2008 final table of the WSOP was a historical event in which the youngest player won the main event, and it was the first year that the WSOP final table play would be postponed for several months. The final table of the 2008 WSOP’s 28th event is playing down right now, after starting with a star-studded final nine players.
Noted online player, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond currently has the chip lead , ahead of David Benyamine, Adam Hourani and Johnny Chan.
Already eliminated today are Kirill Gerasimov, John Juanda, Daniel Negreanu, Phill Hellmuth and Brian “tsarrast” Rast.

At 10 PM on a Monday night in Las Vegas, two players got together to play some heads up poker. One was from Russia, the other from Denmark. All of the players with big followings of family, friends and fans had been knocked out the day before.
